About the Games:
Puppetland: In one golden hour, you and your friends shall weave a tale none will soon forget: a tale of good-hearted puppets in a bad-hearted world. You shall rise up against the savagery of Punch the Maker-Killer with his army of Nutcrackers and his terrible Boys, sewn from the flesh of the Maker of all puppets. You shall be steadfast and true. You shall likely die trying.
Ghostbusters: You know what this is. You know what you’re gonna do. A fast-paced, easy to learn, full of laughs game about getting ghosts before the ghosts get you!
Monster of the Week: Most people don’t believe in monsters, but you know the truth. They’re real, and it’s your task to bring them down. Hunt high school beasties a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, travel the country to bring down unnatural creatures like the Winchester brothers of Supernatural, or head up the government investigation like Mulder and Scully.
Betrayal at House on the Hill: A board game experience where you cooperatively build a haunted house together… before one of you turns out to be a traitor!
FATE Accelerated: Last Layover: A group of strangers waiting at the train station bears witness to something so awful, so impossible, that reason fails it. In the small town of Turner, PA, death is commonplace. Accidents at the steel mill and the slow turnover of country life, but this town holds more than one grizzly secret. A brutal murder in a locked room, a group of strangers with no apparent motive, and a local legend straight out of a slasher movie all make the supernatural seem close at hand. Whether or not the dreaded Turner Devil is real, unless the PCs can find an answer, there might be no one left by the time their train arrives.
Dread: A game of horror and hope. Those who play will participate in a mutual telling of an original macabre tale. You will take on the role of people who find themselves making decisions we hope to never face in real life, trapped in a story that is only as compelling as it is hostile. Each game of Dread uses a Jenga tower to determine if characters’ actions are successful, and each character is built using a simple questionnaire of loaded questions.
Ultimate Werewolf: An interactive game of deduction for two teams: Villagers and Werewolves. The Villagers don’t know who the Werewolves are, and the Werewolves are trying to remain undiscovered while they slowly eliminate the Villagers one at a time. A Moderator (who isn’t on a team) runs the game.
Paranoia: Greetings Troubleshooter! Todays another idyllic day in Alpha Complex under the perfect, logical, and rewarding guidance of The Computer. As a recently promoted Red Clearance Trouble Shooter, its your job to solve the big problems: just what shade is the ceiling in dome Thai Kappa Noun, how many naps per day is the proper number, and scientifically how happy are you to live in Alpha Complex with The Computer.
And fix broken systems, machines, and clones, kill terrorists, cultists, and mutants – if any of those things were real. Which they aren’t. Because of The Computer. So smile Trouble Shooter, Trust the Computer, Love The Computer, Obey The Computer.
