Workshops

We’re adding a room just for demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on activities!

Introduction to Prosthetics for Cosplay:

Hosted by Gaudy Guises FX. Class size is limited!
This is a full hands-on 2 hour class. We cover instruction on prosthetic methods that cosplayers can make from easily obtainable and inexpensive materials. This ‘kitchen table’ approach is extremely popular. Students are also each given a pre-made prosthetic appliance and guided through application and painting on themselves or a partner. Their resulting application can be taken with them or simply worn out onto the convention floor.

Intermediate Prosthetics for Cosplay:

Hosted by Gaudy Guises FX. Class size is limited!
A 2 hour hands-on class which can either build on the Intro course or be taken as a stand-alone course. In this class students go through the entire ‘Hollywood’ process on a small scale. Each will sculpt a prosthetic appliance, create a mold for it and then cast their creation in prosthetic silicone. The resulting piece and their mold are theirs to keep. They can easily use the knowledge to create as many duplicates from their mold as they please.

Killer Clues

Our free-to-play, con-wide scavenger hunt!

Start playing anytime! Don’t forget to stop by the merch booth to get a free evidence bag (while they last!)

To play, just look for participating vendors and “interrogate” them – they’ll ask you to complete a simple task and give you a clue. Collect as many as you can, then redeem your clues for prize entries!

Prizes are drawn once Saturday, and once on Sunday. Play on Friday Night, too for even more entries!
