About Us

After attending NC Comic Cons, we decided to create Carolina Fear Fest out of a desire for horror-themed conventions closer to home. Our crew is just a group of horror nerds who are excellent organizers and imaginative thinkers. With our first year a success, we can’t wait to grow our horror convention, and become the best horror con and creating other unique events in Raleigh.

We chose Raleigh’s bustling southern metropolis because of the variety of people who live here, the convenient amenities, and the nearness of major travel thoroughfares, including an international airport and I-95.

Carolina Fear Fest is hosted by Arctic Pumpkin Productions, an event management company based in Lillington, NC. In the fall, you can find us running our haunted attraction, growing every year, in Lillington area on CATHIS Farm.

About The Venue

Located at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC, the Jim Graham building is the largest of the fairground buildings, with over 100,000 square feet of convention space, a restaurant, panel rooms, and more.
