Usagi Medical Group: COVID-19 Plan Review

May 10, 2021 | Information

Original post by Usagi Medical Group. Usagi Medical Group is a fan-focused group of nurses, EMTs, Paramedics, behavioral specialists, clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals. More than just a contractor for medical needs during the convention, where they work hand-in-glove with public-safety/security, ensuring quick response to attendees, staff, volunteers, and crew in need, they also provide education throughout the year to ensure all convention staff are trained on disaster planning, CPR, and radio etiquette.

Original Post:

Carolina Fear Festival has nothing to be afraid of. Usagi Medical Group was happy to provide advisory services to Carolina Fear Festival (CFF) as they plan their reopening this year. With one phone call that took less than an hour, we quickly discussed their concerns and current public health strategy, and some additional considerations for them to make as they plan their upcoming event, scheduled for May 29 and 30 in Raleigh, NC.

It was clear CFF had done their homework, observing guidelines outlined by local health departments and the CDC. We were happy to help them put some finishing touches on their strategy to give all stakeholders more confidence in being able to have a great time with their in-person event, while minimizing risk for their staff, special guests, and attendees.

CFF is going to have a great time, and Usagi Medical Group will be on hand to provide additional services and protections during the event. UsagiMed’s John Moore says: “It’s great to be working with CFF! It’s clear they’re taking safety very seriously, and that’s a position we support. We’re happy to lend our expertise to help ensure a safe and fun time for everyone.” Please come say HELLO to us if you’re going to be in attendance!
