Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and guidance issued by State and Local Authorities, Carolina Fear Fest will be POSTPONING their event, originally scheduled for May 22nd – 24th in Raleigh NC.
Our new date is July 3rd – 5th. We feel that postponing this event will ensure that we are all in a better, safer situation to gather again. Still in the same amazing building at the State Fairgrounds – a huge area for horror fun and all the free parking!
There are some fabulous activities, games, and programming yet to announce and we are very excited for this event. We are still waiting to hear back from some of our celeb guests, but it appears that most of our celebrity guests WILL be able to attend our new show dates! Information on our line-up will be coming out soon as we get those final confirmations in.
Additional precautions to protect everyone from the potential effects of all infectious diseases (such as flu, con crud, the common cold, and COVID-19) will be put into place. This will involve deployment of hand sanitizing stations and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing at the venue.
Tickets purchased for the May 2020 dates will automatically roll over to the new date in July.
The normal policy for events such as these is no refunds. Obviously, we are in new territory here, and we will be offering ticket refunds for those who cannot attend the rescheduled event. Refunds are available by request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure that request includes your contact info, the name the tickets are listed under and the details of the ticket (ex: Weekend Pass, Sunday Day pass, etc).
Refunds MUST be requested no later than APRIL 22. Please expect the refund process to take up to 14 days. You can also request to have your ticket held over to next year’s event in 2021. While the dates are not yet confirmed, we expect 2021 to again be on Memorial Day Weekend.
Vendor spaces are still available. Please see our website for the link to apply. Current vendors should look for an email from us with information and policy changes that may apply to them.
Volunteer slots are still open. Please see our website for the link to apply. Current applicants will be receiving an email soon with more info.
While we are not making changes at this time regarding physical contact guidelines, those policies may need to change as we get closer to the event. Updates on those policies, or other restrictions that need to be implemented, will be made on our website and social channels should they happen.
Hopefully by July, horror-lovers across the region will be in a much better position to come together and party it up! Thank you all – stay safe – more info to come soon!
