Our crew is just a group of horror nerds who are excellent organizers and imaginative thinkers.

We can’t wait to grow our horror convention in 2024, and become the best horror cons on the East Coast, and hopefully soon, create other unique events in Raleigh!

After attending NC Comic Cons, we decided to create Carolina Fear Fest out of a desire for a fear festival, a horror-themed convention closer to home. We chose to build our horror con in Raleigh’s bustling southern metropolis because of the variety of people who live here, the convenient amenities, and the nearness of major travel thoroughfares, including an international airport and I-95. We’re perfectly located for horror fans in Virginia and South Carolina.

Carolina Fear Fest is hosted by Frozen Panic Productions, an event management company based in the NC Triangle Area.

About The Venue

North Carolina's horror convention in Raleigh is celebrating five years of fear!

Located at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC, the Jim Graham building is the largest of the fairground buildings, with over 100,000 square feet of convention space, a restaurant, panel rooms, and more.
